Our information and advice from Agadir airport to our riad for rent
The Google Map above shows the path to get from the Agadir Al Massira Airport to our villa rentals. The distance is 20 km. It is conducted in 15 to 20 minutes.
We highly recommend the path indicated in blue and after in grey, which allows driving on an express road good sized and recently new paved.
In El Gfifat (sometimes spelled Lagfifat), first crossing point, take the only road on the left. Our riad for rent is 5 km. Be careful if you drive at night : two-wheelers and pedestrians are hardly enlightened. Do not drive while more than 80 km / h !
In Ouled Alioua
In the douar (hamlet) of Ouled Alioua two roads lead to our villa to rent when coming from the airport. Click the medallion of the above map (bottom right) to see the detail. The path marked in red are recommended on the first day or the first evening. The one marked in yellow is more romantic. It is called Mimosa way, but in fact the flowers are the acacia flowers.

Make good exchange transaction at the airport
The dirhams you need can only be purchased in Morocco, exchange controls oblige. At Agadir airport, do not rush towards the first exchange desk located in the arrival hall baggage. Despite its modern look, the exchange is much less favorable than in small shops installed at the exit, next to the car rental agences.
It is not necessary to change your entire budget in dirhams. Morocco is endowed with a dense network of ATMs. Visa and Mastercard are accepted by all devices. It is no longer the case however for Maestro cards. They feature a double safety system that drives installed in Morocco are not able to read.
Prudence at the distributors : an attacker might be watching you. Breakdowns distributors are unfortunately frequent sign of a computer network ... somewhat hesitant.
Euros are also accepted almost everywhere, currency 1:10 or 1:11 (one euro=10 or 11 dirhams).
