The Garden of Stars organizes Moroccan cooking classes which is given in an atmosphere of 1001 nights. This feast of culinary learning and taste buds is for anyone who is interested in learning the basics of Moroccan cuisine and achieve some of its iconic dishes. Registrations are taken via the form below. Price: between € 60 and € 80 per person, depending on the number of participants.
This course is also open free to residents of the riad, since it occupies the place on Thursday evening (in principle, unless another night is defined between all concerned).
Extremely user-friendly, it is delivered by our lady-cook, Mrs. Roukia, and led by our steward, Moulay Hafid. It is organized provided that a sufficient number of participants is to be registered (two to eight people maximum).
Guests who do not wish the organization of the course during their stay communicate their desire to us. We respect their choice and the course is not organized if there is no agreement during this period.

Day of the cooking class : thursday evenings, as far as the number of participants is sufficient.

Price : depending on the number of participants, 60 € to 80 € per person. Moving up to the riad is the responsibility of the participants.

Tea ritual with mint discovery and tasting of traditional Berber bread : with our steward Moulay Hafid, organic herbs from our garden and our tafernout oven.

From 17 pm : beginning of the demonstration of Mrs Roukia, our Berber lady-cook, of the main course of our traditional Moroccan menu : lamb tagine with prunes and sesame.

17.30 pm : start cooking the tajine on majmars, small traditional grills made of clay.

Meanwhile, demonstration and preparation of briouates vegetables (input) and sweet couscous with almonds, raisins and cinnamon (dessert).

19.30 pm : tasting menu made, either inside or outside the riad, lemon water of the Garden of Stars.

21 pm : end of this beautriful evening, departure of participants.
